The bench grinder mounting plate is a great quality product and meets OSHA regulations without having to buy a floor mount unit. We bought three mounting plates and they work wonders.
Product was delivered on time and once installed was able to see the great quality in this product. Would recommend to anyone looking for guarding on a lathe

I ordered 2 of the mag base safety shields with flexible gooseneck arms. One arrived with a scratch on the plexiglass. Even though the damage could have occurred in shipping, Ferndale customer service took care of it right away (Thank you.) We have not used the shields yet, but they should help us in our quest to ensure safety.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear about the scratch on the plexiglass of one of your mag base safety shields. We are glad our customer service team was able to assist you promptly. We will review our packaging policies to try to avoid scratches in the future. Thank you for choosing Ferndale Safety!
Product was delivered on time in perfect condition. Once on site and installed it was a very well designed and assembled product ready to be used.
Hi Carl! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad to hear that the product is well-designed and easy to use. Thank you for choosing our product and for your support. Have a great day!
I ordered 5, only 4 of them were operational. Maybe there should be a final check before parts are shipped. However, the Sales Coordinators were extremely responsive and shipped out replacements quickly.
Thank you for your review, Caroline. We sincerely apologize for the oversight with your order. We've identified and corrected the issues with these items and are implementing new quality control checks to prevent this from happening again. We're glad our Sales Coordinators could assist you quickly, and we appreciate your understanding and feedback—it helps us improve!
The company I work for requires machines to have an e-stop button and anti-restart circuitry to prevent inadvertent start-up after a loss of power event. This off the shelf solution tackles both of those compliance gaps in one easy to install package. This product works great for 120 volt 'shop' type equipment like bench grinders, belt sanders, and drill presses. The Ferndale team has always been a valuable resource to my company when we're looking for machine safety supplies.
Thank you for your positive review! We are happy that our Anti-Restart Motor Starter has helped your company meet compliance requirements. We pride ourselves on providing simple and effective solutions for machine safety.
We were in need of a larger guard for the chuck on our new lathe. This guard allows for not only exception coverage but positions in multiple ways to accommodate most any stock.
Highly recommend this guard!
The safety shield is working as expected on our production floor. Safety committee is pleased and would recommend this product.
Built from what seems like quality and durable materials, doesn't feel flimsy at all. Fits our older machine nearly perfect just needed to make a small bracket onto the base as the mounting holes were not present and some didn't align with our machine. Local health and safety board are satisfied. So that is an extreme plus on my end.
I tested a prototype and liked it!
Them I bought 8 for all factory Bench Grinders.
The reasons I chose ViziGuard - FER-BGS-2K:
Slick design
Adjustability
Cost effective
Easy to install
User friendly
Choice of poly or lam. glass shield
Recommendation: If each shield could pivot separately instead of both together (while engaging safety interlock switch).
Thank you Ferndale!
